Located in the centre of Edinburgh, only a two-minute walk from Princes Street is this wonderful place offering everything a person needs to be happy donuts, coffee and tea, what more do you need.
The eatery opened its doors in 2016 and has since become a firm favourite with the locals and visitors alike.
Since they opened Baba Budan has been supporting the home-grown roasters of the UK and Europe. And because of that the coffee changes every six to eight weeks to give the customers the chance to experience new blends of coffee.
The donuts are simply divine and comes in plenty of flavours including peanut butter, chocolate custard, orange curd, raspberry jam, cherry and chocolate salted caramel to the slightly chicer date and ginger or the sensational pistachio.

A blend of Italian and Scottish flavours and techniques, can you think of any thing better?
The story of this wonderful place began in 1890s when Luca Scappaticcio, a man who had come to settle in Scotland and had secured himself a position in the kitchens of one of Scotland’s more prominent hotels. It was here that he learned the art of creating luxury ice cream, combine that with the flavours and textures he brought with him from Italy and you’re left with something amazing.
And in 1908 he made the decision of opening the first S. Luca ice cream parlour in the seaside town of Musselburgh, the second branch in MORNINGSIDE opened its doors 15 years ago and has been serving finger licking food since.
Whether you go for he silky-smooth ice cream, something from the amazing confectionary section (which is full to the brim with handmade chocolates and other sugary delights), one thing is for sure its going to be an unforgettable experience
